I have a Amvona/Dynatran ball head that I like and works great. Its basically a copy of an Arca Swiss ballhead.

I just realized that I lost the mounting plate. I cant find it anywhere. Does anyone know if this mount would work as a replacement?

Are all these Arca-Swiss mounts basically the same?

Don't know any specifics about the product, the pic looks OK for what should theoretically be a pretty simple item. For high quality (but quite pricey) Arca-Swiss style plates - both generic and specifically designed for various bodies/lenses - check out Really Right Stuff or Kirk.

When you decide to buy one, get three instead, because over time...
1. You will want another one anyway.
2. You'll lose one.
3. And they'll have stopped making that model & you won't be able to find a replacement.

I know I should buy more but I just bought one (1) from the Manufacturer. Ill just leave it on the camera this time and never take it off. At some point I will probably find the other one too.
A $31 plate........I think I paid about that for the Ballhead on Ebay.
