These were taken yesterday at the Salinas Airshow. The Thunderbirds did not get to fly cause as you can see the fog rolled in a little early. Weapon of choice: Canon 1D & 300mm f/4 L IS. Enjoy...

Nice shots! I can't wait for Miramar next week. Incidentally, you might want to get rid of the sensor (?) spots on 2, 3 and 5.

Nice pics, I really like the last one. You might bump the exposure and saturation just a bit and the sensor really needs a cleaning.

Great shots!
I especially love the first F-15 shot, great perspective as it is sweeping across the sky! Keep up the awesome work!

It's dark mainly because I was shooting against the sun and the fog came in.:cry:

That's a good recipe for going to shoot static subjects... ;)

Awesome shots. I love the F/A-18, shame it's on its way out (IIRC)

Nope, it will be around for a while longer in the guise of the F/A-18 "Super Hornet."

Longer range, heavier payload, newer avionics, some "semi stealth" tweaks to some of the airframe shapes...it's in the mix for some time to come.

Yup, it's here to stay a little longer. It's the F-14 that's retired.
