Maybe it doesn't apply to most of you but for me who lives in a humid country, i store all my gears in a 80l dry cabinet. Only pack those stuff i need before i head out.
Ain wanna leave my lenses on the shelf in fear for fungus growth.

You might just wanna look into one to store those expensive gears of your. Quite a worthwhile investment for a controlled environment to house all gears. I kept my old printed photos album in it as well.

As a certifiable bagahoulic I've accumulated (and kept) more bags than my wife has purses. I try to keep my extra gear in a spare closet but sort of pre-packed inside the bags based on the way I find myself using them. Macro stuff in one bag, longer lenses and attachments in another. That way I can just shuttle a body and maybe one or two other lenses into a bag that's already partly packed.

I have a lock box that I leave my stuff in usually,... now that im getting my 40d i dont know what to do with the extra body...
