I'd show you the original picture but bibble ate it. 3rd rule should be right, if I had shot this at a duskier time it'd have been better so the top left wasn't so washed...any other suggestions?

You have an image with a lot of texture, accentuate it by doing a B&W conversion after bumping up the contrast. The things you do for yourself die with you, the things you do for others live forever.
