Happened to be in Waco, TX for the weekend with my mom and managed to make it out to the Lake Waco Wetlands for a few hours and found a real treat. A crested caracara (lifer).

Viera wetlands has a breeding pair that have had several offsprings. I have seen them on the highways driving south to Naples, Fl. as well. Keep an I out Stan, they are in Fl.
