Wow what a summer, so busy we (TriCoast) simply have not been around long enough to share our sessions much. So with that said I am trying to get back into the swing of things and share more of what we are doing besides just on our blog.

So with that in mind here is our latest bridal session at a "all in one" wedding venue just outside of Houston in the Conroe area. A great bride which is getting married this weekend actually and one of her best friends hired us to surprise her with a bridal session. Jordan and I showed up and had a blast capturing these images which have a traditional feel to them especially with the traditional settings but the bride was up for anything so we did our best to make something unique out of it.

#1 - Starting off in the "Bridal Room" we got our lights set up and the bride in the "modeling" mood

#2 - Standard hey look out the window and click the shutter photo

#3 - Same basic pose as #2 just a different angle with the camera

#4 - Hey I am wondering if this bride or if George Costanza (external link) looks better? Ummm not real sure, I guess we should have gotten her to get into boxer briefs huh

#5 - Moving into the hallway just outside of the "Bridal Room" Jordan saw the light coming through the window and captured this image just by asking the bride to sit down and look.

#6 - Moving past the window we saw this amazing wooden spiral staircase which was a challenge to capture images on but we just had to try.

#7 - The Bride's favorite image of the day (at least as of today)

#8 - The large mirror at the bottom of the staircase was a must to capture but did present even more challenges of the tight space

These are amazing. But, I don't think outtake #5 should be considered an outtake. Sure, you may not want it in the main album or on the wall, but that is a definite keeper.

Beautiful job. I see so many new and funky photos on here that speak to the change digital has given our industry. And they are good and when well done, beautiful. However, I also see a lack of images that simply flatter the bride and make her look gorgeous on her wedding day. Serious lack. So, how to balance the two?

You've done it here. Well done. I see fun and funky. I see beauty and grace. I see a bride that bonded well with you guys and I see amazing images that I'm sure she loves! Great, great job. Good examples for everyone on here. Not all are my style, which is what makes us all interesting. I'm surprised you haven't gotten more comments, because these are amazing images. Just one question though:

Where is your old, crumbling brick wall? Isn't that a requirement for a portrait on this site? :D

Very extensive use of leading lines, effective lighting, negative space, pattern, plenty of texture, control of color, and strong contrast. Very technically excellent and beautiful work, IMO. I wish my eye was that discerning.

Great shots!

You know, the bride's preference for this image says a great deal about the female mind. While a woman may slap you for overtly checking out her cleavage, at the same time they have no problem showing off their secondary characteristics. Sort of like “I had better not catch you checking me out, but take a look at these!” And the fairer sex wonders why males are so often confused by mixed messages.

The bride is in her late 20's and is a virgin (yeah no lie) a strong large traditional Catholic family.

However becoming friends with your clients, having them trust you, knowing what they want to display through their portrait session we capture their wants and needs with our artistic vision.

The bride when seeing this image said "Oh my, my rack looks amazing" and hugged us!

She is truly a pure and "christian" women however she is also ready to get married and to "get it on" with her husband and loves feeling and looking sexy for her man! Knowing this we captured some images which shows off her beauty and her sexy side blended together. The ending result with this bride - PERFECT!

Thanks for the nice words we had a blast with her, I have ordered 1- 20x30" for the main portrait to display at her wedding and 15 8x10" to surround the place with all of the ones shown in the main post being one of the investment portrait prints. I am dropping them off later today (Thursday) to the bride, an hour and a half drive. I could have shipped them to her but I feel seeing her reaction when I unwrap the portraits is part of what I enjoy, it makes all the hard long hours worth it and I enjoy making our clients happy on or around their wedding event.

Sorry everyone the outtakes have been removed, I do not have the links to them either since they were removed.

Sorry to cause problems and confusion.

Those are really beautiful. The only criticism I have is that the bride has the same expression in each photo. Is that her most flattering smile?

I second that! Nice work mike, like always! Do you even go to bridal shows anymore?
