Most used 'camera phrase' to spouse?

My two most popular phrases to the spouse re digital photography are:-

1. I got almost what it cost on Ebay.

2. It really didn't cost that much at all.

Are these phrase in common useage? :oops:

The magical word is "discount" like in the sentence: Darling, I went to this store and they had a great discount on the 50D so I bought it and saved $200!

No usually using "Have you put on weight?" as a distraction technique has that effect :D
