I shot I birthday party in August, and although I think ive posted a few images from the event before... This one is a new edit.. and wanted to know if his eyes look too fake or just enough "spark"

NSG, funny you say that, i dont use my sharpen tool on eyes. the only thing i did to his eyes were contrast , brightness, and a bit of curves

Beautiful shot... I agree that you can back down the eyes a little bit.... They appear to be glazed... and I'm sure they are tack sharp out of camera....

Do you feather the edits to the edges?

yea unfortunatly not on purpose though. I couldnt get close enough the subject while selecting the background to do a gaussian blur.
