One of the best places to watch the race without ticket is in Marina Square in front of Carl's Junior.

Thanks :) Just got lucky to be able to squeeze through all the people and stand in a lamp post near the fence :lol:

AlvinPaul,

Thanks for the heads up. You were careful not to make any kind of comment about the event. It was very dramatic on TV, the helicopter shots of the ribbons of light through the City made me wish I was up there with them.

It looks from your images as if you had similar problems to those we had in Valencia. Except we had rather over zealous "security" making things worse by not allowing anyone near the fencing so trying to shoot and make the fence "disappear" out of focus was never going to happen.

So can I press you for your "after race" thoughts? I think we can discount Alonso's new found love of the circuit as well as Ferrari's boss hating it. What we need is a dispassionate view.
