I have the Sigma 17-70 on it. No problems at all. I think somewhere early in this thread I've posted some sharpness pictures, but you'd have to go back lots of pages.

Ah, don't bother, here's the link to the post with pics:

Instead of getting those two lenses, I would just get the Canon 15-85mm. It's a superb lens.

-1 for pic with reply
There's the little blue box to take you back to the quoted post to see what pics are missing. But it is kinda funny when 3 pages of a cellphone get filled with the same shots.

So the other day I was able to shoot some people again, after being gone for about a month or so. I tried to incorporate what i have been learning about landscape photography/ processing into this shot to give it a dreamy dynamic look. I also considered adding borders to this but decided not to. Anyway, any input you guys have would be helpful, thanks!

I have that lens, and it is slamming, fast AF great IQ, example in post 5872

I too have the 70-300mm IS and I don't want to lug a heavier L lens around because I'm very pleased with this Lens' Image quality, function, and weight.

I stop down to f6.3 or 7.1 routinely as advised on a few reviews, namely:
