Y'know, I get your point there...but I also get where matonanjin is coming from. It's pretty irritating when somebody reposts four or five photos only to add a one-line comment. Not as big a deal if reposting one pic in particular, or if somebody has a question about what settings/equipment, etc. was used, but seeing the same five photos reposted three or four times starts getting tiresome. Not trying to "police the thread", just talking about common courtesy.

-1 for reposting the image.

-10 for being obnoxious. Stop trying to police the threads in POTN. That's not your job.

actually it's in the rules

When quoting posts that have photos, please take a minute to remove the [IMG] tags, or just remove the reference to the photo altogether. There's no reason to have the same photo quoted time and again in a thread.

Thank you.

Raw shooter you are absolutely correct. It's not my job. And you will be pleased to know it is my final comment on the subject.

As Veemac said, it's just common forum courtesy and that's all I was asking for.

I stand corrected. I had asked for this a couple of posts above, got opposite responses and didn't search for that myself. Clearly my bad. My apologies.

Nice shots Katalyst. In the zoo I assume? I guess that's a prime spot for getting some good wildlife photos. Is it cheating if they are in captivity? lol I don't think so..

It was in a Zoo indeed, and I don't think that counts as wildlife!
