I'm having a problem with my 50d shooting more than 9 or 16 shots sequentially. It used to go up to 90 and it still will on the c1. Setting because I saved my settings but in AV or TV as I used to be able to set it to high continuous and JPEG it wont now for some reason. Could this be software or am I loosing it.

if you set the jpg quality at the lowest level, you can shoot continuously forever. I've done over 100 shots at the fastest setting. Somewhere between the lowest quality setting and the highest is the limit where the photo size will fill the buffer faster than it can empty itself to the card.

He wanted a 50mm focal length, not a 30mm?


[50D/BGE2] -> [580 EXII / Cactus V4] -> [28mm f/1.8EX] or [70-200mm f/4L] or [50mm f/1.4EX]

Hey jb1911,

I believe the sigma leads in build quality, image iq when stopped down, dreamy bokeh (this is where it can (could) be compared to the 1.2L).

why does flickr darken the images:/ or is my screen off again

note: yes i did miss focus:) kind of tricky with this dof, but nothing too serious
