oh! totally forgot about this, while i was on holiday last week, i was taking a photograph by the sea and a Sea Gull crapped on my trigger finger while i was taking a shot - it went everywhere, and into the shutter speed wheel..

i used a wipe to get as much of it off as i could, and then i gave the camera a shower, using one of the showers on the side of the quay (for ppl who had been out on boats etc i guess) and i'm not talking a quick rinse, it had a good 20 seconds under to get all the crap out and off of the camera

you put your camera under running water on purpose? after that, did you bang it on the ground repeatedly as hard as you could to make sure it was dry?

This one is so awesome. How did you managed to get this shot? I am totally interested in astrophotography. :-)

We're talking seagull droppings here. You know, the endangered species that comes by the hundreds everywhere.
If I were to choose between that or water, I'd opt for water.

@AMD72 - awesome shot. Good display of what I'll probably never see in my life. Not anywhere near where I live anyway.

so recently while shooting with my 50d it comes up with a error 30, i know the error is shutter related and if i turn it off and turn it back on the error goes away... should i bring it to canon for repairs or should i just hold off? its done this 5 times to me already and im just concerned that later on it will be a much bigger problem. what should i do?
