My 1st shots ever with OCF! Single B800 into AB 22" Beauty Dish. Please CC. I have sooo much to learn. All shots were with the Sigma 24-70 and no background was used as I havent had a chance to purchase one yet-

there could be some lighting in front because we can't see her eyes and the shadows beneath her cheeks are quite strong.

but for the rest, I can't complain. i mean... focus is good, composition too... and the black background really works on this cool "middle-east" theme.

nice shot

You are absolutely right.Thank you for the comment

Cool - I really like the blur in the foreground and background

Cool. I like the PP. What did you do to it?

Thanks! PP included cross processing and a touch of desaturation to mute the colors.

I love mine too. I have a question that I have done a search on but never found the answer. It concerns the auto lighting optimizer and the highlight tone priority. Do those features only work without flash? I think the highlight tone feature works in raw and jpeg and the lighting optimizer only works in jpeg, right? But do those things work when using flash?

Flash won't affect either function.

Walking around campus with my camera. Took these 'off topic' photos. I usually shoot cars or people but have been finding myself more and more shooting stuff like this. Sorry if any photos are reposts..
