Tomorrow I will leave for Ireland (10 days), and I'll bring with me my new 5d MK II too ;).
I bought the 5D II during this summer but I've been so busy with my work that I hardly had the time for some serious shots, so this is actually the first time I'm really going to use it. Hope to bring back some good shots from Ireland!!!

See ya all on Octber 18th!!!

PS: (as always...forgive my english mistakes :P )

Hello -
I keep mine to zero as some will advise. I do all my NR in Lightroom 3

If you want a faster shutter speed - the faster your card reads and writes the better. Minimum class 6 - higher if you have need.

i did tests with my 50 and noise when i bought it, found that in camera noise reduction set to Standard came out best

i didn't think there was much in it with Memory cards so bought some Kingston 16GB and 32GB 133x cards, they're dog slow on the 50, and i've since gone to Transcend 400x cards, they are just the ticket!

Startup with the Kingston cards wasn't instant, it would be a good 2 or so seconds before i could shoot. The 400x are instant start up, so i don't have to worry if my camera goes to sleep and needing to take that quick fire shot.

For the memory card, it only matters if you shoot long bursts of RAW images (long = 15+ RAW images continuously). If you shoot jpg, that number is well above 50. I have been using a 133x Kingston, and I am happy with it even though I shoot RAW - but my bursts are 4-5 at a time. If you shoot long RAW bursts, the card will slow you down after 18-20 shots. A 400x will give you about 3fps beyond that (instead of 6.3), and a 133x will give you about 1fps. If you don't shoot continuous RAW bursts, spend your money on a reliable 133x or 200x card.

As far as I can tell, I dont see any slow down on my 50D with a 133x card. In fact, I cant even compose a shot in a few seconds of powering on the camera, so even if it did slow down it wont matter to me! :)

Looks like the EXIF info was stripped from the bird photos. May I ask what glass you used on these?
