Very nice and clean considering the high iso, was this shot @ 1.8 ? I'm preparing for the same scenario but my f4 is not getting the same clean pics. Again great capture.

Thanks! Glad you like them. These are shot at 85mm and f2,8. We (my wife and I), also have a 12-24 f4 and have used it in several churches with good result at both iso 1600 and iso 3200. With the 50D body.

But on longer focal lenghts you probably need f2,8 or f1,8 or something.

Good luck.

Best regards/Daniel

For those of you with calibrated monitors, is bulldogg7's too red? Mine too green? Just checking. By the way, adorable.

Same here... comparing, it's just a tad too red. Seems the cute girl is having a little fever. :)
Didn't notice until I saw oldvultureface's "correction" (allow me).

But she's adorable! ;)

yeah, the original was too red, something I notice too much with the 50D, even with the updated Firmware, if WB is set to auto, it leans to the magenta side like a crutch.

According to the EXIF, WB was manual, so either a preset or custom was set.
