I used the 135 mm @ f2.0 on both pictures and handheld. The first picture with a 580 EXII in a small softbox. The second picture is natural light. These were the first pictures I took with this lens and totally love it. I thought it might be too long on a crop, but I like using it for tight headshots.

I've been lurking for a while, and tonight I'm going to introduce myself with two pics of my cat. I'm just a know-nothing hobbyist, but I'm sure I can learn a lot from the wealth of knowledge here : )
I admit I've had my camera for 3 years, but only recently have I decided I need to get off my butt & learn how to really use it. This seems to be a friendly place with useful positive critiques, and I will take all tips & info to heart. (heck, it took me half the night to figure out how to post pics) Thanks!
