A few in the Smokies

We just got back from Smoky Mountain National Park. We saw quite a bit of wildlife. Mainly Deer and Bears. Here are a couple shots from the trip.

Here's a black bear - not the greatest, but these are tough to get a picture of!

wow, I have been to the smokies several times and have never seen a bear, that's a cool shot.
I like the two deer the best though, thanks for sharing.

We saw the bears in the morning and the evening. If you got off the road onto the hiking trails there were quite a few. Once a lot of other people started waling the trails they would wander off.

The deer were pretty used to people - they would check you out, but did not spook easily.
