thanks Allan. Brent Oliver of hypercams an mods modified my camera, but I bought it pre modded from a friend so I never dealt directly with Brent. You can do it yourself, Gary Honis literally has a step by step image by image tutorial. Just understand the risks first and decide if you want to buy a clear glass filter or a uv ir cut filter. You have to replace the canon highpass filter if you want to retain autofocus. If you do it yourself the glass is about $120. Baader and Astronomik make the replacement filters.

The HEQ5-Pro mount is a nice one, got one of those myself
at this stage just for camera and telephoto lenses
also got one of these ..... Orion-Mini-AutoGuider-Package

it will sit on the rail beside the camera and telephoto. One cable plugs into that auto-guider socket on the HEQ5 and the other into the laptop
running the software to use it
