It's just showing that it has an articulated center column...lift it high enough and you can tilt it over for macro/copy work.

Heads? I use a Manfrotto 488RC2 (ball type) but you might also check out:
- Really Right Stuff
- Arca/Swiss (I think this is the right name...)

OH!! Mike, what is that freaken sweet "go around the camera" thingy that you had in Sedona? Where you could switch from landscape to portrait really easily.

Yeah... I think I have the grip on more than off... so I'd probably go with the one for the grip first.

Soo... if I get the same tripod as Randy, the same Ballhead as Jay, and the same type of plate thingy as Mike, would I still be considered a "copycat"? :p :lol:
