If past results are any indication of future performance, you'll knock their socks off... ;)

Thanks, dude. I appreciate it. I'm just hoping to have a fraction of the talent displayed by some of the group here.

You need not worry...
You can lay claim to your fair share of the pie. ;)

I can't wait unti I'm done processing the images from the shoot. They are going to be AWESOME. However, since the customer is purchasing them as a gift, I can't put them up publically until after the gift is delivered. Can't ruin the suprise, you know. :)

Another one from today. A double test. New background, and I decided to break out the 70-200 L. I normally shoot in the studio with the 28-70 L, but I think I may change that.

THe compression on the 70-200 is so beautiful.. That's why I sooooo want that lens.... or the 135... but I don't want anyone to think of me as a copy-cat...;)

Your client is going to be so happy with the images if they look anything like these.... You're really producing some amazing work. :)

ps... thanks for the lightroom link.. I plan to watch that video tonight. :)

Thanks, Kristy.

There is more than one video there. I think there are 12 or so. Pretty good info. I think Adobe is going to have something similar for the newer versions of LR>

BTW, the 70-200 I use is the 70-200 f/4.0 L. It isn't the 2.8 or even have IS. In the studio, I don't shoot below f/5.0, so the 2.8 was a waste to me. Plus the F/4.0 version is SOOOO much lighter. I'm sure you can get a good copy for $400 or so. Mine was about $480 from Canoga camera when I bought it.

Get the 135L Kristy :) Then again... the IS is nice on the 70-200 and you have zoom.... LOL

Going to order the 135L this week... hope to have it this weekend... fingers crossed...

I'm sure you can. If I can do it, anyone can!

Maybe we need to have a group studio day?

Nothing in particular really. Like I mentioned earlier, I'm swinging single Mon, Tues, Wed (Photo Club Mtg in the evening) and most of Thursday so just testing the waters.
