Ok, here's one for the group to chew on...

Just got an email from a nice lady interested in one of my images on Zenfolio wanting to know the largest size available.

I get back to her with 20"x30" but no bigger because the resolution won't support a bigger print (via MPix) and unfortunately, that's not big enough for her. Ok, cool, whatever.

So I go digging around through all the different products that are offered and sure enough, anything bigger than 20x30 is N/A. EXCEPT, you can get a "Wall Cling" (akin to a FatHead I guess...) and it can be 6 feet by 4 feet...

So resolution/dpi experts, if an image can scale to 6x4 feet, why can't it yield a poster-sized print larger than 20x30 inches?

not an expert...but maybe the way those images are printed can cause it to be so different in size. :-)

Cool cool! What bands have you shot before?

I prefer landscape right now... trying to broaden my horizon though. :)

I shoot locals mostly but I have shot a couple bigger bands. A few bands i've shot are, Sea Of Treachery (ohio), For Today, The Anatomy of Suffering, A Step Ahead, The Funeral Pyre(california), & more.
