I was hanging out just north of the Cop Shop near the new(er) playscape...

I had hoped one of the Stearmans would have come out to play as it was such a nice calm evening but I guess even the idle rich are watching their nickles and dimes these days...

Actually saw a T6 Texan enter the pattern the other day when I was walking out of the mall. Didn't know one lives there. Of course it may have been one rich dude visiting another rich dude. Lot of major hangar construction at mid field on the east side.

I'm p*ssed they put canvas up on the new fence right on the centerline of the runway. I guess I'll just have to go hang on the fence instead now.

Dunno...

On the one hand, I hope it makes them world class and maybe that will light a fire under the Phoenix Zoo's rear end (it's declining IMO) or maybe they'll remaing a sleepy little zoo where you can sometimes (seemingly) have the whole place to yourself.
