Thanks everyone. It really was a great day for hiking and taking pictures. Wasn't too hot.

all the new added pictures came out nice, brian, kristy and tammie. If I missed anyone, sorry. I ended up deleting mine from last night, just didn't turn out the way I planned. It's ok, I'll be doing it again this week.

**YAWN**..... ;)

Geez you guys... I had SOOOO much fun! Thank you Mike and Jeremy for figuring it all out for us... :)

I only took 2 pictures... lol.... Here they are.. Not spectacular, but I'm sure I'll want to try it again sometime. Is it possible that there were "too many" stars...?

Tammy, Hatch and Brian.. awesome shots.. I like Hatch's framing... and Brian your exposures are so cool.. : ) Tammie, I like to colorizing you did to yours.. adds interest. I may have to go and revisit mine later.

Jeremy I want to see you cactus... :) Mike wha'd ya get? You are in my landscape shot... :)

I think this is too dark....

is that what that was, me. thats really an ancient spirt you captured :)

next time we'll have to try some creative stuff with people, since i'm not creative that leaves everyone else.

Home from the "6 Hours of Irwindale"

What a sh*t weekend. Oh well, it pays the bills.

Nice work folks. Sounds like it was a good time had by all. Looks like Jeremy's hike took him fairly close to the Needle...

Guess it's officially time to start the "Scenes From The Road 2009" gallery.

How'd it go Jay? Get any shots?! :D

I was right next to it... and at one point a lot closer than I should have been.

Friday got completely rained out so we ended up doing three races on Saturday night...ugh.

The main event was pretty good racing and featured a few well known drivers but the two late model undercard races were wreckfests that never came close to finishing on laps (they were timed) due to the number of cautions.

I was right next to it... and at one point a lot closer than I should have been.

Hope you'll post more and/or create a gallery of shots from that area. It's one of the most fascinating landmarks around in my book.
