Yeah, you know it's bad when his ears stick out farther than his shoulders. He is really a sweet kid. I hope he grows into those ears.

I liked this one as a square aspect:

[QUOTE=Hatch1921;7184397]Thanks! It wasn't bad at all... mainly a concrete path and then a small 100 yard hike to where we shot.
ah cool... i was envisioning some huge long hike before you guys got into position! :)

@ Brian: I see you haven't lost your touch. Excellent work. Unique looking little guys to be sure...

I put a few shots from this past weekend up to kick off Scenes From The Road 2009:

Thanks, Jay. We missed you last night/this morning. We had quite a few planes out overhead that you could have shot. :)

Like your recent stuff. Very well done.

Thank you...

Sorry I missed it too. Strikes me as one of the largest (if not the largest) POTN AZ gatherings. Also sorry since we didnt' get a chance to finally meet face to face (er, shadow to shadow...) ;)

Irwindale was interesting. It's hard to picture it but the track itself is exactly the same size as Bristol, TN (1/2 mile) but minus the 160,000 seats.

Miserable Wx that just made the organizer throw the schedule in the trash and wing it... That never makes for a smooth weekend.

BTW, just as a point of interest, the "teenager" in the black fleece with his shades on his hat is Joey Logano who will be replacing Tony Stewart at Gibbs Racing this season. Talk about havine the world by the orbs at a very young age.

Everyone ... enjoyed the star trails, portraits, rainy weather shots!

Sorry that I couldn't join you but I had a good time at the workshop. Two great days and alot of information to digest.
