Yeah, you know it's bad when his ears stick out farther than his shoulders. He is really a sweet kid. I hope he grows into those ears.

I liked this one as a square aspect:

Nice work Brian.. I LOVE the ears.. they are so darn cute... :) My nephew kind of had big ones when he was little.. so it's a soft spot.. gotta love 'em. :)

Beautiful lighting but you already know that Mr. Fine Art,... ;)

Thanks. I started that thing to give me something to do. :D lol I'm bored a lot.

I still can't figure out why Jeremy is bored..... We gotta get you more socialized off the internet... ;)

It's so funny how you are soooooo quiet in person... I'm going to draw out the extrovert in you if it kills me... :)

@ Jay... It was a good meet up... and we missed having you there... I had fun... but I think I just find fun... it is what you make it... Frank and Jeremy had me cracking up on top of the hill... between Frank shining the flashilight in my eye when I was trying to see through the viewfinder... and Jeremy... just laughing and laughing.... It was funny... ;)

I'm off to see Jay and Jeremy's galleries...

HEY URSIE>>>>>>> Your post got burried... But I LOVED the shots of the little girl. She is gorgeous and what is she wearing..? Love the white sheer skirt in the background underneath her... Got more to share?

Thanks Kristy, the ones I've processed are here (external link) . She's wearing one of my daughters old ballet costumes. These folks will be driving back through my area soon and I plan to take the girls around town in their ballet costumes and do some fun stuff. Can't wait, that should be ton's o fun.

Hey lady... :) I'm just begining to look at your galleries.. Might I add a quick suggestion.. To watermark everything that you put up on the web... it's really easy, and Smugmug will automatically add it to your galleries once you create one..... It just protects your work.. and well... you know... :)

Really great shot Brian. You're making me think I ought to learn lighting. I generally am a lighting snob, preferring ambient light, but these are just gorgeous.

Yeah, this is where I look like to true ignoramous I am. How do you add a watermark. I haven't figured that out yet.

Oh, by the way Kristy, I think the previous post about this got buried too. What remote did you get? Does it have a timer so you don't have to hold the button for bulb exposures. I'm trying to plan which one I want.

Here's a tutorial on how to make a brush.... https://photography-on-the.net …highlight=watermark+brush

I got this.... It doesn't have a timer, but it does have a lock... http://www.amazon.com …ler=&colid=&condition=new (external link)

Ask Jeremy what he got.. His was only about $25 more and it does lots of cool things....

Dunno which one Jeremy has but I use this one and it's great for time lapse work as well as pre-set timed exposures:

with that remote, can you change shutter speed at the remote?

No...

You can:
- Set interval between shots
- Number of shots to be taken (if you're in AEB this is handy)
- Duration of shot to be taken
- Combo of the above

It can also function as a simple locking shutter release for manually timed shots.

This is the remote I use. It's cheep I have found even the Canon one seems not not last too long the wire seems to come loose at the plug, so I get the cheep one now, and has lasted longer then my canon one did and is 1/4th the price.
