Cool shots Brian. Did you actually have the Cycle in your studio?! Or was it photoshoped that way?

Jeremy,

It was shot in a garage. I used my backdrop, and 4 strobes. I would have liked to have a couple more. This thing was a challenge to light, and I still didn't get the best seperation.

It's always a work-in-progress. I removed the sign and some of the stuff on the right side. Do you I should try getting the tellow in the middle out? Thanks for the input?

nice. maybe just a smaller stroke on the border of the team pic. almost bleeds into your text on the bottom there. overall nice work. I like the edit w/o that white poster behind his head :-)

Brian, nice shots. i really like the bike shot! that is such a beaut. the bg does look a bit photoshopped in to me, but I still like the shot.

Hatch, thanks for the update. I really want to photograph some of those wildflowers out by some trails by me BUT I'm affected by this darn allergy season so I don't see myself laying down getting any low angle shots :-P might not even make it out to the mtns if I don't stop sneezing and getting itchy/watery eyes :-)
but I am looking forward to ya'll photos :-D

Ryan,

The second shot is heavily PS'd. The bike was sitting on a couple mats, with the background behind it. I had to try and make the bike look like it was sitting on the background so I used quite a bit of cloning. Also, the wide angle lens makes the front of the bike much larger than it should be.

Just poking my head in. Survived Atlanta (managed a couple of Atlanta airport threads over in Transportation) and now on a break for a couple of weeks leading up to the Luke AFB show.

Dunno where to begin in trying to catch up but I see everyone is busy and doing the usual high-level of work.

Brian .. PM coming your way...

Here is one from last night...

Still not sure about the Lastolite Tri-lite reflector.... only the 2nd time I have seriously tried to use it... still on the fence about the catchlights...

What do you all think?

Hatch

I would try it with the reflectors closer to each other so that it appears as one reflector in her eyes instead of 3 spots of light. Great shot none the less!

But on my quest for answers.. I found this article and thought I'd share.. :)

@ Brian.. LOVE, LOVE that final shot.. really nice.. :)

@ Hatch.. you already know.. but I do like it.. :) Catchlights dont' bother me too much.. heck, you can just be a new trend setter in these "HIP" new catchights that are "ALL THE RAGE"... lol.. ;)
