This is my 2001 Mustang GT Convertible Drag Car. I race NMRA in the True Street class. Which is a run what ya brung type of class, but you have to go on a 20 mile drive in the car before you race. So, it has to be built strong enough to be a streetable car. It's a super fun class. Anyways, here are some pics.

I do want to appoligize in advance. I know these images are a little dark.

WOW, that thing sits high! I dont think I would race anything that high. The center of gravity has to be higher than the axel on it.

Nice ride!

Which is a run what ya brung type of class, but you have to go on a 20 mile drive in the car before you race.

Guys used to trailer in their cars & unload them a few blocks away. We'd make them follow us about 20 miles before we'd run them. Most of their performances weren't all that impressive then, & a few didn't have enough gas to make the trip! :D

This is exactly why I build turbo and blown cars. I can cruise all day and stomp all night! I actually had to commute in my race truck for a while. Sold my other truck and never found another to replace it. So I commuted to work with a 10 gallon tank and at about 10 mpg on the highway. I filled up every other day.3-4 times a weekend.

This is it...
