Shot my first ever air show last Saturday, in pristine Spring conditions in Coffs Harbour. It's certainly different to the usual baby/kid portraits! Here's a few for C&Cs. All shot with 70-200mm F2.8 non IS:
80% FW-190

I wasnt aware of any flying samples... also the cowling looks a little bit stubbier than usual? If i'm wrong, than thats great someone actually has one airworthy! It is listed as 80% original. The photo generated quite a bit of interest on another forum. I don't know much about old planes I'm sorry! Cheers. Instead of loving things and using people, why not use things and love people?

Yes it is cropped but not PP in any other way, except of course for web compression. It was just one of those shots that we fluke now and again with perfect exposure and focus. Sadly they don't happen that often with me... Instead of loving things and using people, why not use things and love people?

In fact, upon viewing both, I don't think I cropped it at all. Instead of loving things and using people, why not use things and love people?

dashotgun Goldmember More info | Oct 03, 2008 09:44 | #14 I bet they meant it is 80% of the size of a real one. There are some sl smaller mustangs as well. There is no way that is a real FW 190 given that profile. The camoflage is also striking but not a very typical camo. You don't take a photograph, you make it. ~Ansel Adams

Either way, it is a striking looking aircraft. Instead of loving things and using people, why not use things and love people?
