My studio stuff arrived tonight. It took forever to get it set up and then I was just winging it, not having any idea how to set my new vivitar flash. I need another off camera shoe cord to make it really work well (the trigger has to sit between the hotshoe connector and the flash, which makes the whole thing too tall to sit in the softbox!), but I had fun testing it out for a few minutes before I had to send my son to bed. School night.
I only had time for 10ish shots and I picked these to process. I can tell I'm going to have a lot of fun with this.. and that I'm going to become completely addicted to paper colors... especially since shipping is FREE! I'm sorry that these aren't too exciting. I basically just picked a spot on the floor and told him to stand there... I promise I'll get more creative later.

2. I clearly have no direction at all on B&W because I really don't prefer it, but I really need to develop a style since everyone else seems to love B&W! I don't like the lighting in this one. I needed to turn it down on the right, which I did on the other 2 shots.
