ok so i usually just press the convert to black and white button in my photoshop. but this is my first try at converting it using layers and curves etc. i've been inspired by this site and all your wonderful pictures. please critique and give me any advice. thanks!!

I'm no good at b&w conversions.... so can't offer tips...but what a little cutie pie!

I agree.. I have no experience with layers and such either.. but I really like this shot :)

I like your conversion but your photo seems a bit grainy. that may have been your attention though. I know you only asked for c&c on your conversion, so as far as that goes, i think it looks great for your first try!
