I've got a 7MDH, and I like to carry all my gear, regardless of the weight.

the gear includes the following (or will in the very near future):

Canon 40D+grip
Canon 70-200 F2.8
Canon 100mm macro
Tamron 17-50 (attached to the body)
Canon 50 F1.4
Canon 10-22
Tamron 1.4x TC
Tamron 2x TC
Kenko tubes (full set)
430EX
Better beamer

as is, I leave the tubes + macro at home, and i don't have the 10-22 yet. I'm barely squeezing those in the 7MDH, and i just don't see the 10-22 fitting in the bag without completely overstuffing it.

I was looking at the karachi outpost, but the sloped nature of the bag seems to really limit what you can fit in it. bag itself is very comfortable though.

suggestions?

Should all fit for the most part. I guess the Beamer is taking up a lot of space. Also the grip. I never had a shorter lens and a grip attached. Yes it will be full but it should all fit.

Are you looking backpack or shoulder bag?

well, idealy, i'd like to get a backpack, to compliment the 7MDH that i already have.

i think i can technically cram in everything in the 7MDH, but it's really bulging out the sides. I just don't like double loading the bag (having stuff on top of other stuff) because it always feels like whatever's at the bottom, is what i need most.

and the beamer actually disassembles pretty well, but it's kinda awkward with the flanges, so i can't just slide it into the front pocket.
