I am in the process of shopping for a background support system and was wondering if I should go with muslin or paper backgrounds. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
Which should I choose?

The fabric is difficult to store properly to keep smooth and is heavy. I have a simple 2 stand, 3 connect rods frame support I got at B&H and have hung many different backgrounds and the deep blue is the best for portraits, putting the subject about 4-5 feet in front of the paper. I bought 3 different colors and the grey and blue work best. Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!
