I noticed a lot of you are using bulb mode for your night pics, although the EXIF info shows that it was under 30 secs. Any particular reason to shooting bulb vs. manual?

I'd imagine personal preference comes into play here. I use bulb in conjunction with the bulb timer function of Magic Lantern for longer exposures, but normally I prefer to just up the iso a bit and keep it in Manual. I'm yet to encounter a situation where I couldn't just up the iso to 400 and stay in Manual mode to get a proper exposure, but sometimes you need to go longer to get a clean shot with no people in it.

I use bulb with ND Filters and remote. That way I can capture the patterns of the fireworks that I want.
