Autumn produces a lot of spiders in Kyushu. Last year my Sigma 17-70mm had focussing issues and I had to send it in for recalibration. By the time I got it back again the spiders were gone.

Now they're back...... and the lens seems to be working OK. :D

100% crop....

Lovely colours on this.
Macro shooters don't normally get focus issues with lenses- we use MF :)

This shot is manual focus. The lens had general issues when I bought it last year, and it took them three weeks to fix it. It's my all-purpose walk about lens, (although I have the EF-S 60mm planned in the future), so I wanted it to be working properly! :D
