Yacht club opening day race.

Today I took some lunch and sat and watched the Naval Point Club opening day race on Lyttelton Harbour. There was a fresh Nor-wester blowing which caused some drama at times. It seemed not many turned up I guess on account of the weather.

Those are nice and the country side looks absolutely beautiful. Number 3 is fantastic. I am assuming the badly listing boat righted itself and all was ok.

Thanks for the comments everyone, yes the boat having trouble with their spinnaker did get it sorted out alright :-)

Nice shots! I've been in a few of those situations. Looks liek it was blowing abotu 20-25 that day.

I agree with bhunter417. The countryside really makes for a great background.
