Gotta love the second, black and white really lends itself ands shows the motion of the water nicely. Great!

The first is something else, I'm not keen on the blue or the unlevel 'horizon'. Sorry.

The first one has a cockeyed horizon and looks a bit blurry. The second one is absolutely fantastic - the b&w take on this is great. I love it :D

First one is a too soft for my tastes, but #2 is very powerful. The waves crashing against the pier make for a really dramatic scene. Nice one.

Of the two, I think the second one sparks a 'mood'. Great motion captured also.

Thanks for the comments - it is indeed Tynemouth. The horizon on the first is actually straight. However due to the mist and spray it's not clearly visible. The pier however is at an angle as I'm not at 90 degrees to it and therfore I guess this eyes tends to assume this is the horizon and should be straight......

That second shot is a cracker mate! The high contrast black and white really work here.

Keep it up!
