I've been working in Oregon as a studio photographer for a couple years now, and working mainly with Nikon (D-200) that belonged to the studio, while on my own using a XTI (my own) in spare time. Now I'm back in school after 12 years out, no longer working for the studio, and working on a degree in Graphic Design. No more Nikon as it was the studios, and having just purchased a 40D I'm looking forward to all the help, and ideas offered.

Welcome to the forum. It's a fun place to hang and chat about photography. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Welcome to POTN!!!

I have a 40D as well and really enjoy it. I had the XTi before that and didn't like it as much.

Which lenses do you have? Which ones are you planning on getting?

Look forward to seeing some of your work, post your flickr or other photo hosting site. :)

~Eric~
