Down in Ocean City, for the biggest VW/Audi show this weekend and I ended up with a really nice picture of some very, very expensive rims. These wheels run about $2,200 - $2,500 per 4 wheels. Let me know what you think of the picture and what I could do to make it better.

Great pictures, IMO.

But 22-2500 is really not that much. One brand that comes to mind is iForged. Look them up. Not common for these wheels to go over 4-5large for a set of 4 :-O

I guess that it's an age thing with different priorities.

Unless it's a show car only, why would anyone with a properly developed ego spend that much on rims?
Or is it purely testerone induced wisdom?

i like the first shot the best.

as far as ego goes...substitute 'rims' for 'house,' 'trophy wife,' 'boat,' etc....people w/ $ find a way to spend it, regardless of their birth year.

i guess you haven't seen the real expensive wheel yet. :) $2500 for 4 is normal (or consider cheap in "pimp up your wheel" category)

I paid $1250/wheel on my Z few years ago. :)

other would asks why should we spend $8000 for a camara body? or $2000 for a lens? It has nothing to do with ages or ego. Just Priority.

I like the first picture the best. Would have been better if the hood was down, but I know you could not control that :) .

Forgetting the discussion about rims for a second and doing some CC.

1. Seems a bit too dark at the bottom of the tyre, I can't see anything but black on my screen (could be my screen). The first also looks very desaturated and lacking in contrast compared to the second.
2. Some dudes head is being impaled by the hood, that distracted me a lot, if that could be fixed you would have a really good shot.

That's true for both comments.
And they rub the fender.
