Here's a neat read from the Singh Ray blog where Darwin Wigget puts the ND grads to the test. He uses both the Cokin P and Lee holder. It may be of interest for those deciding on which filter system go with. Enjoy!:)

I was using P-series filters, but i upgraded to 4x5 filters last year, used in Scotland and i can tell that i did a great job to upgrade, so i recommend all people just go to 4x5 and forget P-series.

4x6 is the Z series correct? Thats what I have been looking at since I have 16-35 with that 82mm filter size. That way I could use my filter system on that and all my other 77mm lenses as well.

Yes, and also Lee foundation kit as well, in fact i have Z-Pro series but i don't know why i feel i should go with LEE holder, some saying that LEE is better than Z-Pro.

If the Z-Pro is working for ya, than I don't see a reason for you to upgrade.

The Lee holder I think is a bit lower profile and somewhat nicer in design, but it's quite a bit pricier than the Z-pro holder.

I agree though that the P series should just be skipped in most cases. Go right to the 4" systems like Lee or the Z pro. There are a whole bunch of sizes available from 4x4 to 4x6 available and you can generally use any of them.

It is working but i can see very slightly vignetting in some cases in the widest focal length [16-18mm or 10-12mm], so i would like to try LEE as i heard from someone that he tried Z-Pro and then LEE and he swears by LEE.

I see. I have my Lee setup for only two filter slots. So, I have to check to see if I vignette with the original three slots on the holder.
