:D thank you all for commenting on my ospey . as ive still got 2 or 3 images to pp i will return with those later.

as for now ive just finished these from my day at the reserve with pleasing resaults :).

alll shots are from the 40d and 600mmscope cropped for compostion.

Great detail on these shots , i love the colours on the lapwings irridesent plumage , very nice .

Great set of pics :-)

Lapwings are one of my fav too and I would love to get closer to them, but thats a really difficult task. Love the colours you captured on the wing.

I feel like I should know the LBB in the first frame but... hmmm. Have you got an ID on him?
Could you tell us more about that 600mm scope you're using also?

it's amazing to think that a £300 skywatcher pro series apochromatic ed with flp53 lens 80mm /600mm can give very pleasing reaults and a full review is due.
this i will be sorting out the week end.
