i'm using the Canon 40D and am shooting outdoors in bright sunlight. the cars are very shiny with lots of chrome, etc. looking for suggestions to be sure the least amount of sunburn on the shots.

If you are shooting where you have no control of the car locations, a CP will help some, but there is really no way to kill those hot spots. All you can do is watch your angles for glare and reflections and pray for some overcast.
