2008 Colin McRae Stages Rally

I was lucky enough to attend this great event which paid tribute to the 1995 World Rally Champion who was killed in a tragic helicopter crash last year. Managed to make it to 2 stages, but sadly the last stage was cut short after Jimmy McRae went off the road and an attending fire truck got stuck in a ditch. Still, it was a joy to see the likes of Vatanen and Mikkola getting sideways in their MkII Escorts. Here's a selection of my pictures.
