i like it, but would prefer it stopped down a bit, to get the edges of the cuts in focus

Yeah, the 1.4 definitely made it softer... I think I focused on the inner areas of the eyes. I'll fire it back up later and take one at a lower stop. Thanks for the suggestion, guys!
