Hello -
Our local photography club will be doing free portrait sessions and prints for underprivileged families and also for the women and children living in a local shelter for victims of abuse. We are all amatuers and most of us are way more comfortable behind the camera than behind the computer
We'd like to make these portraits very special for the participants, something to really brighten their holiday. I'd like to get some suggestions for pp techniques and to be pointed to any good tutorials. We have access to Photoshop.
We will be doing some black and white, where we prefer simplicity. . .but then we will be doing some color and we'd like to include some dramatic effect, something like the photographer at the site below (examples are under portfolio - Toddler #12. . .Bigger Ones #14,23, 25. . .Together #13,15,23. . .Itty Bitty #8,9. . . though probably not as extreme on the eyes in some of the examples.

ANY input is appreciated!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance for taking time to read this!
