Went to the Fryeburg Fair for the first time evah today. This pumper, pre-combustion engine, really caught my eye. It has been beautifully maintained.

so...what did I do wrong with these pictures that nobody commented on the subject at least? Any commentary on PP is welcome as well. I've got a basic understanding of some elements of photoshop, but it's pretty intimidating to just mess around with.

Pretty small images. You can go up to 1024px.
And this is a pretty lazy bunch we have here & I've had threads go to page 2 with 200 views & no comments, too.
But ask yourself this, How many threads have you commented on? ;)

thanks for the feedback photosguy. You're right and I'm trying to start posting my comments a little more frequently. I'll use larger images next time.

I have to agree, the images are small. Another thing that would be interesting is to show a little detail of a portion of the engine. Being a firefighter, I love this sort of thing. Keep posting please.

Nice shots. I love these vintage machines, but, I'm straining to see some detail in these small photos. Larger please.

It's amazing that we've come from this type of apparatus to the mammoth engines and trucks of today!

Thanks for posting.

The images are really too small to comment on. Would love to see the larger versions of these.

The piece in the rear is the steam boiler, used to pressure the water pump. This piece was pre-internal combustion. The wagon was hauled usually by a team of horses, 3 across.
