fantastic shots....how do you get to take shots like that? a large lens in the plane? do people give you crazy looks?

I like the 1st picture, because it shows the huge vastness of the skies and what we fly in.

They are beak to beak, taken from 40,000 feet with the targets 1000' lower and about 1500-2500' slant range and closing speed of about 16 miles a minute. Taken between Korea and Hong Kong. The 74s are Korean Air and I don't recall the 777's airline.

That is so cool. I love the wing flex on the 747. I have noticed it while flying in the aircraft but have not seen the whole picture. Thanks for posting.

Awesome series. I'd imagine if I were in the cockpit of any of those birds you wouldn't be able to wipe the smile off my face!

you can tweak the levels... to brighten them up, they look a little dark.
