I was skating while I was taking these pictures. Scary thing is, I haven't skated in ten years so it was a little funny watching me trying to balance and not to fall. I took some from the side with my medium tele zoom but they didn't come out as nice. I ended up bringing my nifty fifty and getting up close and personal haha. Too much gear...

I also brought along my 300D, and took many skating shots, as i am a great hockey player so balance is no problem for me, but for some reason (i guess too cold, i dont know, cant explain it), only 20 of the 200 shots or so actually wrote to the CF card. The card may have been lose or something im not sure, maybe one of the contacts froze in the transition of switching CF cards, cuz my son used it earlier and he has my old Lexar 40x, so i had to have my 80X cards in there lol. Cam worked fine once i got indoors so thats why the temperature is my initial thought. (no clue how much the cam can withstand, but i didnt find it too cold). I dont know but im disappointed i didnt get any good shots like urs. Good work. DAD:
