I found this during the week leading up to the Woodward Dream Cruise.
Doug has had his '62 Corvette for 24 years. It has a 400cid small block motor, A Doug Nash 5-speed transmission, & a 12-bold 4.11 rear end.

The restoration in 1985 was a father & son frame off project that took 2 years. Disc brakes were an upgrade.

It's won top honors from the National Corvette Restorers Society.
He puts on 2,000 hiway miles a year & said it will turn 12 seconds in the quarter.

Love the interior shots on this, nicely done. Also liked the head on shot. Too bad there were no other Vettes next to it. That old Nissan (or was it a Datsun) really did nothing for it.

Too bad there were no other Vettes next to it.

I'd be happy with no car on one side of it.
