Im having a problem trying to speed up my workflow.

What i want to do is to take all the images that i want to keep (selected in bridge, opened with ACR and processed as required), apply my copyright data to the metadata and then save them as JPEG.

Im using CS2 btw.

I'd start off with the metadata.
Select all images in bridge, and either type in the metadata, or apply a template...

Then open all in ACR. Don't forget there's a "sync" option ;)

Also: Have a look in the FAQ

Frankly: I'd add the metadata while downloading, using Image Ingester (external link).
Also, if all you use is ACR, I'd convert to DNG while ingesting. That would get rid of the sidecar .xmp files.

You can't use DPP then however, which is why I still use ACR, and convert to DNG after importing into LR: I keep both CR2 and DNG.
